At each regularly scheduled Board of Education meeting, there is a time for public comment, which allows individuals to address the Board regarding school district issues. Patrons' comments are welcome, but they will not receive a response during the meeting.
To address the Board, please:
Complete this form or sign up in person before the start of the meeting.
When called upon, please approach the microphone in the center of the room.
Introduce yourself by stating your name, address, and relationship to the district.
Speakers shall not exceed three minutes of public comment.
If a group has comments, a spokesperson should be selected to speak on behalf of the group.
If using a prepared statement, please have copies for the Clerk and Board (10).
According to Kansas Law, KSA 75-4319, the board shall not hear personal complaints concerning any employee or groups of employees of the school district or any person connected with the school district during open session.
Requests for auxiliary aids or services for persons needing assistance to address the board should be made with appropriate advance notice.
