Spring Hill Schools is served by seven Board of Education members who live within their individual geographic member districts. The Board is elected by a voting plan whereby six members live in geographic member districts and one runs at large. Any registered voter who resides within the boundary lines of USD 230 may run for election.
2025 is an election year for the following USD 230 Spring Hill Board Member positions: Position 4, Area 1; Position 5, Area 2; and Position 6, Area 3. These seats will be part of the November 4, 2025 general election. The following fast facts are provided by the Johnson County Election Office "How to File" webpage:

- Filing Fee: $20
- When Offices are Elected: Odd numbered years in the fall
- Where to File: Election Office
- Filing/Withdraw Deadline: June 1 (12 noon)
- If the filing deadline falls on a weekend, the deadline will be the following Monday (12 noon).
